How many times have you heard someone say “Retire?  I don’t know what I would do with myself?!”  How sad it is that many people can’t imagine unleashing their life beyond the confines of work.  With some thought, creativity and planning you can unleash the life you want to live on your terms.  Here at The Joy of Retirement we will explore and share helpful perspective no matter what your life stage to contemplate early retirement, partial retirement or full retirement.

As a relatively young ex-CEO, I have started on my path to explore early retirement despite having three young children — in fact, it was because I have three young children that I decided I needed to work less and live life more.  It is an exhilarating journey and I look forward to getting and sharing lessons with you as we learn as a community.

Most retirement information focuses on the financial aspects of retirement.  Here at The Joy of Retirement, we will also explore  the importance and inspiration of purpose, structure, community, passion, personal development and more.  The Joy of Retirement community will grow to address all of these and more.
